Polly Alakija

Polly is a proud British-Nigerian artist & international muralist whose third home is South Africa.

As our communities become increasingly global, geographic location challenges us to think differently about how we make relevant changes, and how we express representation. That perspective manifests in much of her art & advisory work

In her own words, she is “uniquely equipped and privileged to work with and work within diverse communities” through shared values, shared dreams, and shared aspirations.

She serves on various boards, including the Yoruba Shyllon Museum for Contemporary Art Lagos, the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture Lagos, and the World City Culture Forum Advisory Committee.

Her murals are all around the world.
